Independent Producer, Director and Shooter, I spent 15 years working and living in Los Angeles, CA before moving back to my native New England. My start as an independent producer and director began in regional and professional theater being inspired to produce everything from Beckett to Durang to Opera. Living and working in a small town necessitated a creative resourcefulness – and so through fundraising, networking and good old fashioned gumption I learned the basics of producing aka “getting it done”; this “on the job” training was the foundation of my career. Moving out west in order to pursue a career in media, I started working in TV soon after moving to LA, landing a job at Michael Ovitz’s Artist Management Group in the TV production department where I worked on several multi-camera sitcoms for NBC and UPN . This eventually led to a career as a Casting and Story Producer specializing in docudrama and reality, working on hit shows such as “The Biggest Loser”, “Kid Nation”, “Billy the Exterminator” and most recently “Finding Bigfoot”. The list of network clients include NBC, CBS, A&E, CW, Animal Planet, and FOX in addition to many others. Furthermore, I have made over 7 independently produced short films and worked as a director for Hollywood’s renowned Theater of Note, Sacred Fools, Theatre Unleashed and Eclectic Company Theater.

Now once again on native, east coast soil I’m in the process of developing and create a production company that works to tell the stories of my native New England. As a documentarian, I’m drawn to the small but poignant stories found in people and the community at large. I believe in the power of inspiration. Stories that show people taking charge of their own life and making a difference, matter; instead of indulging and romancing the problem- poverty, unemployment, broken health care – and shifting focus onto the solution – stories of personal power and creative approaches to social and environmental problems – the individual becomes empowered to take action. Through focusing attention on grassroots initiatives, on innovative technologies, on environmentally responsible practices, on local sustainable farms, we learn how to rebuild our communities, our home and spiritual centers, and heal our planet. Currently specializing in short form documentaries I help create an online presence for charitable, innovative and inspirational organizations.

Being a lady with a multitude of talents, and an ability to handle crazy settings, fast paced environments and to keep track of lots and lots of details, I am an asset to have on your team – be it a special, promotional event, project, documentary, pilot, or TV show.  I’ve got an eye for the great shot, the ability to recognize a great story and the resourcefulness to make it all come together. In addition to being a Producer for hire, I’m a videographer (shooter) and have my own equipment and work station with editing capabilities (Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere).

Estimates are available depending on the project and the location of the event. While I currently call North Franklin CT home, I do still work out of Southern California, NYC, and really, anywhere. My passport is current and I’m a road warrior.
